NonCommercial Alcohol

What's Next

After conducting our basic research, we will set a program of action scheduled to commence with an international conference in early 2012. This conference will for the first time bring together representatives from different sectors -- researchers, international organizations and regional development banks, schools of public health, and governments -- to establish an international agenda for sound policies and interventions addressing noncommercial alcohol. This will help facilitate the effective inclusion of evidence on informal markets in policy development and interventions, with the intention of enabling a wide range of stakeholders to deal more effectively with problems related to noncommercial alcohol.
