The 2011 workshops brought together model city agencies, NGOs, and representatives from industry. Participants were successful in identifying, planning, and beginning to develop projects for reducing alcohol-related road traffic crashes at the local level. Following the capacity-building workshops held in 2011, there will be ongoing monitoring and evaluation by model cities implementation teams with support from ICAP.
